WASHED AND CLEAN
‘How much more
shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself
without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living
God?’ - Hebrews 9 vs 14
Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. It is a great joy to me bringing you
the word of the Lord. Now at this time, the Spirit of the Lord has stirred in
me to bring this revelation to you, for a successful and victorious life
over sin and addictions.
In my previous teaching titled FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT IN
PERSPECTIVE, I talked about this which I am about to share with you. Writing
the same things again to you is indeed for your good just as the Apostle Paul
said in Philippians 3 vs 1. God Bless You.
Now looking at our opening Bible passage in the Message Bible translation, it reads,
‘If that animal
blood and the other rituals of purification were effective in cleaning up
certain matters of our religion and behavior, think how much more the blood
of Christ cleans up our whole lives, inside and out.’
Waow! It says how much more the blood of Christ cleans up
our whole lives, inside and out. God wants you to know that you have been
cleanse by reason of the blood of Jesus. This is the knowledge and revelation
that will stop the flow of sin and addictions in any Believer's life.
The problem is that too many are looking at their works,
their performance instead of looking at Christ, His performance. You may be
currently struggling with malice, envy, bitterness, easily angered,
fornication, masturbation, sexual lusts, adultery, smoking, drunkenness or some sort of addictions, and you keep trying to change, making new resolutions every year, all to no avail. O yes! Why trying to change
into what you are? - Selah
"Why trying to change into what you are?"
Every Christian must come to a resolute conclusion, having this agreement
that we walk by FAITH and not by sight. {2 Corinthians 5 vs 7}. What is Faith? Confidence and Assurance in what is written!
What is Sight? Confidence and Assurance in what is seen! Beloved, God
wants you to know and accept this. You are obviously in the weakness of malice,
but God’s word says you are clean inside out! You are obviously in the weakness
of masturbation, but God’s word says you are clean inside out! You are
obviously in the weakness of lies, but God’s word says you are clean inside
out! You are obviously in the weakness of sexual lusts, but God’s word says you
are clean inside out! Your addictions are obvious before you and before men, but the Word says you are washed and clean. Your weaknesses appear daily before your eyes, but God’s
word says you are free, washed, clean inside out. Glory to God. What should you therefore do? Refuse to identify yourself by what you see in yourself, but by what the
Word has revealed about you. The devil may say to you, "you fellow full of lies!" Don’t
accept that, say "I am full of Truth". You did not tell a lie, you agreed with
the Word. - Selah. The devil may say, "you fellow full of sexual lusts!" Don’t
accept that, say "I am full of Godly thoughts, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and there is no lust in me. -
Selah. By continually doing so, agreeing with the Word by the confessions of
your mouth, your spirit man is changing, transforming, conforming to the image of Christ, your spirit man is transforming to the
Word which you are in agreement with in your thoughts and confessions. - Selah
‘But we all,
with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are
changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the
Spirit of the Lord.’ - 2 Corinthians 3 vs 18 {KJV}
That’s it! Take note of the underlined words in the verse:
- beholding
- are changed into the same image
- from glory to glory
As you keep beholding this truth, recognizing them,
believing them, confessing them, you begin to change into your confessions
unknowing to you. Then sooner you find out that you hardly tell a lie save a
few times. You find out that the masturbation that was daily has become weekly,
yet you are still acknowledging the Word as truth in your life and continually refusing
what your weakness says you are, but accepting and confessing what the Word says about you, clean inside out! Maybe you were a cigarette addict, you'll find out that your urge for cigarette is gradually dying. As you continue in faith, somehow, you
will find out that the urge and zeal for these things: lies, illegal sex, and whatsoever
it may be has died! Glory to God! Your life has finally conformed to the Word. You see that? So calling your life what the Word calls it, makes it
becomes so. Acknowledging that you are what the Word says you are brings about your transformation into that image.
Walking by faith (recognizing the Word as truth instead of your circumstances and experience) is the life we have been called into. Faith has always been
the victory. {1 John 5 vs 4}. - Selah
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
