‘And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired
to have you, that he may sift you as wheat…’ – Luke 22 vs 31
Hello Dearly Beloved. It’s always my joy bringing you the
WORD of God. Now, in this topic, I want us to look into the fore-knowledge of
God as it relates to HIS Grace and Mercy on our lives. Be Blessed.
The word ‘Fore-Knowledge’ simply means having knowledge
about something long before it happens. Now, looking at our opening scripture,
we see the fore-knowledge of the LORD in display. There, the LORD partly
informs Peter about what he was to do against HIM, and right there began to
forgive him and to pray for him before it happened. Let’s see the next verse;
‘But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not:
and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.’ – Luke 22 vs 32 {KJV}
You see that? So right before Peter sinned, God’s
fore-knowledge fore-saw it, and forgave it, long before it happened. Now, what’s
this sin that Peter was to sin, it’s in the verse
34. I believe we all know it, but let’s look at it for the sake of
emphasis;
‘And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow
this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.’ – Luke 22
vs 34 {KJV}
You see it? So we see from this happening that God knows
everything, therefore, your sins, my sins are not a surprise to HIM. It should
therefore mean that sin you committed last night is nothing new to HIM, He saw
it already. – Selah
Now, just like Peter’s, knowing that the LORD already has
knowledge of the sins you commit or are yet to commit, what has HE reached to
do about it?
‘By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of
the body of Jesus Christ once for all.’ – Hebrews 10 vs 1 4{KJV}
It says that by the offering of the LORD Jesus Christ on the
Cross, we are sanctified (Cleansed, Washed, Made Righteous, Made Perfect and
Forgiven) once and for all. O Hallelujah! Just like Peter, we have now receive
forgiveness, not only for our present (known sins), but also for our future
(unknown sins). The reason why Peter never agreed with the LORD that he was
gonna deny HIM {Verse 33} was because
that act was unknown to him in that it didn’t look like what could possibly
happen, but to the LORD, it was known and very visible. But where did HIS love
come in, where did the Amazing Grace manifest? He forgave it before it
happened. - Selah
Beloved, that’s the same Grace extended to us, it says that
we have been forgiven once and for all. Meaning, there is no sin you are ever
gonna commit that the LORD hasn’t known about before, and lo, HE has forgiven
it. Waow!
So when you sin as a result of weaknesses or ignorance, don’t
be overcome with guilt and heaviness, no! It’s not necessary. Simply recognize
and acknowledge that the LORD God knew about it before it came, acknowledge
that wholly, and also recognize and acknowledge that HE forgave it before you
acted it. Hence, be thankful to HIM and walk in PEACE. – Selah
Amazing Grace all the way…………
God Bless You.
