HOW TO SET YOUR HEART IN TIMES OF TRIAL

'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.' - Romans 8 vs 28

Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. I believe that the Spirit of God will touch someone's life by reason of these words shared in this article, and you will be encouraged and filled with hope and strength to move on irrespective of the trials you might be currently faced with. God bless you. You are lifted! Amen.

You see, the Word of God informs us that tribulations (trials) and persecutions will arise unto us because of the Word sake which is in us.

'But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.' - Matthew 13 vs 20 - 21 {KING JAMES VERSION}

So, when we are tried as Believers, we should not deport as though a strange thing has happened to us; the Word already informed us that trials will arise. You get that? Yea.

Now there are many who think their trials to be their end, they think they are finished by reason of the trials, challenges, or difficulties they are faced with; and because of that wrong position of mind, satan takes advantage of that state of mind to bring depressing and oppressing thoughts and feelings to them.

How should a Believer position his heart and mind in trying times? How should he set his heart when he is tried? It's simple: it's by the Believer considering Romans 8 vs 28 as final over his situation. And that's our opening passage. Notice what it says, it says 'we know':

'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.' - Romans 8 vs 28 {KJV}

You see that... that speaks of confidence, assurance. We know! Hallelujah! You ought to put up that mind, that should be your final resolve, where you just know that no matter what it is that you are faced with, it cannot be to your disadvantage. You know, you just know that it is working out the will of God for your life. And by so believing, you will see the peace of God resident in your life, in your heart and mind; you will be at peace and in quietness amidst the trial. And not long, the answer to the issue will show up and you will be glad and give glory to God. Amen. And one thing you will notice is that it worked for your good; you will realize that that situation whatever it was has worked out something good for you even as the Word has said, and you will eventually end up being grateful to God for the trial or trials. Little wonder the Bible says "In every thing give thanks" {1 Thessalonians 5 vs 18}, because God already knows that in all things, in every thing we face, we have the advantage. Amen. Glory to God!

'In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.' - 1 Thessalonians 5 vs 18 {KJV}

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
