‘As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith
unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.’ – Mark 5 vs 36
Hello Dearly Beloved, the LORD asked that I encourage and
comfort the hearts of HIS children who desire one thing or the other from HIM.
You will surely be Blessed. AMEN.
‘And, behold, there cometh one of the
rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his
feet,
23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter
lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that
she may be healed; and she shall live.’ – Mark 5 vs 22 – 23 {KING JAMES
VERSION}
This was the
beginning of the whole story, a certain man who was a ruler in the synagogue
came to Jesus, and asked HIM vehemently that HE may come and lay hands on his
daughter who was at the point of death, that she may live. Now, along the way
as Jesus went to his house, there was an obstruction on the way, another woman
who was also suffering of a terrible sickness got his attention on his way,
hence he delayed his coming into this man’s house, and right there, news came
to him from certain of his house saying unto him that he shouldn’t trouble
Jesus any further because his daughter his dead. Immediately the LORD heard
that statement, according to our opening scripture, HE responded! What was HIS
response? BE NOT AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE! The LORD well knew that as a result of
that information, fear can come into his heart, and once fear steps in, it
short-circuits the power to flow in his direction, hence the LORD addressed his
fears with all speed by saying sternly unto him; Be not afraid, only Believe!
Now Brothers
and Sisters, remember that Peter sank in the sea right in front of Jesus. The
presence of Jesus with him right there on the sea didn’t cease the resultant
effect of fear in his life! The moment he allowed fear have a place in his
heart by the observation of the wind and the waves, there was a correspondent effect.
This was the reason Jesus quickly asked him not to be afraid but to believe
because if he had caught the fear, inspite the presence of the MASTER with him,
he could possibly get no miracle. Why? Because fear brings unbelief (doubts,
faithlessness), and the scriptures tells us that without FAITH, it is
impossible to please God, in other words, it is impossible to get God’s
attention. – Selah
‘And he went out from
thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in
the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath
this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that
even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother
of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with
us? And they were offended at him.
4 But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without
honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid
his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And
he went round about the villages, teaching.’ – Mark 6 vs 1 – 6 {KING
JAMES VERSION}
Do you see
that? Their unbelief short-circuited the power from flowing to their direction.
Not that Jesus could not heal their sicknesses or diseases, but their unbelief
ceased its flow towards them. It’s just what unbelief does, it’s a Law! – Selah
Hence, Jesus
said to him in a hurry, Be not afraid, only Believe!
Child of
God, maybe just at the point when you needed your VISA to travel abroad, it was
bounced, be not afraid, only Believe! Maybe just when you thought you were
gonna be finally healed from that ulcer, it got worse and complicated, be not
afraid, only Believe! Maybe just at the point when your mother should be
healed, she got much sicker, be not afraid, only Believe! What circumstance has
turned hopeless for you? The LORD said to me to tell you that there should be
nothing as hopelessness in your life; HE said there should be nothing as
unbelief in your life, be a Believer indeed. They came to Jesus and said
MASTER, he has been dead for four (4) days now, by now he should be stinky,
what did Jesus say to that young lady? Let’s see it;
‘Jesus saith unto
her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest
see the glory of God?’
– John 11 vs 40 {KJV}
Lazarus was
now dead four (4) days, and you know what, Jesus didn’t show up while he was
sick even when they sent for HIM. Likewise us, many times we pray to the LORD,
and it doesn’t seem we are getting any quick response as we expect, keep
believing anyway. Jesus said unto the sister of Lazarus, if thou will only
believe, you will see the glory of God. Remember, this was four (4) days after
his burial, he was really dead now! Yet, it wasn’t hopeless with God, not my
God, not with JESUS. – Selah
Therefore
beloved, how dead has your expectations become, keep believing, be not afraid! He
will soon show up, and at the end, your case will be as the case of that Jarius
whose daughter was sick and died, she finally got back to life when the MASTER
arrived, so will your expectations suddenly be granted {Proverbs 23 vs 18}. Suddenly your VISA will be granted! Suddenly
your health will be restored! Suddenly, your mother’s bad health condition will
be annulled! Suddenly, it will just turn out fine! AMEN, Glory to God!
Be not
afraid, only Believe! Jesus doesn’t only make the sick well, HE makes the dead
live! So if you think your case is now worse, it can be fairly fine! Therefore
Believe! Hold on to the word of God concerning that circumstance even at its
dead state, don’t let go of the WORD, don’t suddenly give up, no no! Hold on
to, trust IT, believe it, relax on it, settle your heart on it, it will at last
resurrect that dead condition! And you will have a testimony. AMEN.
Patiently believe in the LORD. Even
at death, keep believing in HIS Word. That condition is sure to turn! Jarius
condition turned, Lazarus’ condition turned, yours won’t be different. Only
Believe, be not afraid! Be lifted!
God Bless
You.
