‘But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.’ – Matthew 6 vs 33
Hello Dearly Beloved, how are you doing at this moment? I
trust the LORD is good every time. The Spirit of the LORD has again released
HIS word, that we all might be comforted, and be set aright for a miracle. And
HE says to you today, You’re in the flow!
From the verse 31 of our opening scripture, the
LORD Jesus began to address a practical issue, this will interest you. He
instructed us to take no thought of what we shall eat, or what we shall drink,
or with what we shall be clothed, He added in the verse 32 saying that our Heavenly Father knows that we have need of
all such things. But HE says something profound in the verse 33 which I want us to look into again;
‘But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.’ – Matthew 6 vs 33
{KJV}
Here, we find a hope, and we also find a condition. Let’s
see what they are. What’s the Hope?
The hope is that all of those stuffs we desire and have need of which the
unbelievers seek after will be added unto us. What’s the condition? The condition is that we should seek first
the kingdom of God and HIS Righteousness. Waow!
SEEK YE FIRST THE
KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
Brothers and Sisters, what meant the LORD by this statement?
How do we seek the Kingdom of God, how do we seek HIS Righteousness?
To seek the Kingdom of God is to believe in Jesus Christ. Now get
this, the word as used in that verse 33 ‘seek ye first the kingdom of God and His
righteousness’ are the same things. Seeking the kingdom of God is same meaning
as seeking His Righteousness. The later was included to give a more precise
definition to the former. In other words, ‘and His Righteousness’ was included
to precisely define ‘the Kingdom of God.’ So if we will bring that together,
that scripture would be;
‘But seek ye first His righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you.’ – Matthew 6 vs 33 {KJV}
But Brothers and Sisters, I’d love to announce to you that
we are no longer in the dispensation where the Righteousness of God is sought
after by works, but I’d like to tell you and show you that we receive His
Righteousness freely and are made Righteous by Faith. It’s the Gift of God to all
those that believe in Jesus;
‘For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much
more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of Righteousness
shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.’ – Romans 5 vs 17 {KJV}
You see, Righteousness in this dispensation is not sought
after by works, but received as a gift from God the Father by Faith;
‘Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with
God through our Lord Jesus Christ…’’ – Romans 5 vs 1
Been Righteous is therefore a Faith thing and not a works
thing. – Selah
Let me show you one more;
‘Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might
work the works of God?’ – John 6 vs 28 {KJV}
Certain folks came to Jesus on this special day while HE was
teaching, and asked a beautiful question. They asked of HIM what works they
must do to work the works of the Father. In other words, what good deeds must
they show forth to earn the Father’s Approval? And straightway, this was
the MASTER’S answer;
‘Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of
God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.’ – John 6 vs 29 {KJV}
You see that? Jesus added no further burden on us more than
that which Moses had added. He simply said, Believe!
This is the same term on which our opening scripture stands,
seek ye first the Kingdom of God and HIS Righteousness means to Believe in the
one God has sent to provide us with Righteousness and that’s JESUS! To seek
after the Righteousness of God is to Believe in Jesus, when you believe in
Jesus, then you become HIS Righteousness {2
Corinthians 5 vs 19}.There’s no such thing as can’t this Gift be abused for
a sinful life simply because it’s a Gift and not sought after by works? Nah!
Having understood the works of Christ and the love that propelled HIS actions
for you on the Cross, you cannot help but live a life pleasing in HIS sight. –
Selah. So if you gat a problem with sinning against the LORD, then you gat a
problem with understanding HIS love for you! – Selah. That’s why this BLOG is here for
you, we help you understand the love of God so you can live a peaceful and
victorious life over and above sin and the devil. AMEN.
Now if it be that to seek the kingdom of God and HIS
Righteousness is to Believe in Jesus, then the question is, Have you believed?
If it be so that you have believed, it therefore means all of your needs as the
LORD have said are been added unto you. The LORD said, if we seek after HIM,
they shall be added to us. Now notice, He didn’t say they will be added,
but they shall be added. Any where the word WILL is used, then you know
there’s a promise, but this is more than a promise. The word SHALL speaks of surety,
and only men of integrity use that word SHALL! Therefore, if the LORD who
cannot lie has said if you seek after, they shall be added; and you have sought
after by Believing in Him, it therefore means all your needs and desires are
already following you. – Selah
You might say, but Pastor Jenning, I have believed a long
time ago, and this expectation of mine has still not come to me. Hello Brother,
Hello Sister, that’s the reason the LORD is bringing this word to you at this
point, the LORD wants you to be fully assured that you’re in the flow. What
does that mean? Let’s consider the case of a long pipe having two (2) ends, one
fixed to a water source, and the other is fixed to a receiving end. Once the
water source is turned on, and the water begins to flow, that the water has
began flowing through that pipe does not mean all of a sudden every part of the
pipe will be wet. No! It’s a process. The first parts of the pipe will receive
the wetness first, but guess what? The water is still flowing, and very soon,
the whole pipe contains water. So it is my Dear, if it has not touched you, it
doesn’t mean it is not flowing in your direction. – Selah. Just be patient
saith the LORD, it will soon touch you! Just as that long pipe, you will soon
be wet with the water, it’s flowing and not too long, you will be wet! AMEN.
Beloved, you’re in the flow of your needs, expectations and
desires. The Spirit of the LORD said to me, that everyone who has believed
should expect any good thing at anytime. I asked why? And HE said, since they
have believed (seek ye the kingdom of God and His Righteousness), every other
thing according to my word is following them; because I said it shall follow
them if they believe. – Selah
Therefore child of God, expect any good thing now! Expect a
new House! Expect a new car! Expect a new phone! Expect a new job! Expect a new
kidney! Expect any good thing, expect them now!!! Any good thing can happen to
anyone who has believed anytime, because he has believed, therefore, the second
part of the agreement according to our opening scripture follows. Therefore, we
Believers are like that pipe connected to the water source, the part of the
pipe in the later end might say, Oh I’m not wet (Blessed with my expectations),
but I’m plugged to the water source (But I’ve Believed). But this one thing is
certain that the whole pipe will definitely be wet because the water is flowing
already. Therefore in a short moment of time, the water will reach the end of
that pipe, and all parts of it will be wet. Likewise you, in a moment of time,
your expectations will be granted because you are plugged in to God (The source
of your needs) through your believing. This' why all through the Bible, we are taught Patience. Patience with GOD doesn't mean we are waiting for what is yet to happen, no, but it means that we are waiting for what is already happening, we are waiting for the flow to get to us which is already flowing in our direction. Selah
You have believed, I have believed. You’re in the Flow, I’m
in the Flow! Hallelujah! Therefore, Expect a miracle now!
God Bless You.
