'SUFFER NOT A WITCH TO LIVE' - ADDRESSED

'Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.' - Exodus 22 vs 18

Through out the Law of Moses, we see the capital punishment as the judgment for different diverse and offences., and one of those diverse crimes for which the death punishment was melted is the crime of "witchcraft". If someone was a witch, according to the Law of Moses, such a person should be killed. There are also other crimes which had this death punishment as their judgments, and one of them is the crime of adultery. Let's look at it;

'If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.' - Deuteronomy 22 vs 22 {KJV}

If you studied the story of John 8, you would have observed that the men quoted this Law to JESUS, desiring of HIM that HE judged the adulterous woman accordingly. But joyfully for the woman, JESUS didn't judge Her according to the Law of Moses. She lived! Glory to GOD.

In our today's Christianity, there are denominations who hold that a witch must die, so they are in the habit of praying for witches to die. But the question is, if you pray for a witch to die, do you also pray for an adulterer to die? If no, then obviously your theology is wrong, because the same capital punishment of death meted out for witchcraft, was the very same punishment meted out for adultery. So why do you pardon and counsel one who has committed adultery [for a change of life], but you pray for the death of the one who is a witch; there is a bias with that position. - Selah

See this,

'Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you...' - 2 Thessalonians 1 vs 6 {KJV}

From the above Bible verse, we see something that is natural with GOD, to recompense tribulation to them that trouble HIS people. Right from the Old Testament, we have seen GOD exhibit this nature, HE gave it hot to the Egyptians, HE gave it hot to the Philistines, HE raised up Judges in Israel to recompense tribulation to the enemies of Israel who have troubled them, and GOD is still doing that in the behalf of HIS children today. And you know what, someone doesn't have to  be a witch to trouble you, as non-witches can also plot wickedness against a person. - Selah. So it's better to Pray to GOD to avenge you of your adversaries [according to the Bible verse above], than praying for a person to die all in the name of he or she is a witch. Because the same GOD that said to the adulterer "neither do I condemn you", also says the same to the witch. The adulterer deserves to die according to Moses Law, likewise the witch. So the same LORD that doesn't want the adulterer to die, also doesn't want the witch to die, HE simply desires that they go and sin no more. - Selah. HE wants their Salvation, HE wants their transformation inside out. Remember, there is no partiality with GOD. - Selah. So just ask the LORD to address those that trouble you, HE knows how HE does HIS things, HE knows the perfect way to judge a situation or a person, and HE doesn't have to do it your way. - Think about it

May GOD give you understanding to know and understand these things that I have said to you. AMEN.

GOD is with you.
