SEEKING THE VOICE OF GOD VS. KNOWING THE RIGHT THING TO DO

'Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.' - James 4 vs 17

Season's Greetings dearly Beloved. I trust GOD that all is well with you and all things are working together for your good. AMEN. As you read the words shared in this article which is but brief, I urge you to read with an open heart and mind, and also think on the words. Okay.

Now, Let's take a look at our opening Bible passage, reading from the Amplified Bible Translation;

'So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.'

The Apostle speaking by the SPIRIT says to the Brethren that any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin. Uhmmm. The point I want to bring to your attention is the fact that a man can know what is right to do. - Selah

There are many Believers today seeking GOD in Prayer to get a word or words from HIM on a matter that they already know of. For example, Praying to GOD to tell you whether or not you should help a person is not necessary. Why? Because helping people is right, it is a right thing to do, and you already know that helping people is right; so go ahead and do that right thing you know to do. - Selah. You see? This is just an example to show you how Believers Pray certain prayers which are not necessary.

If you know what is right to do, then you already know what is the will of GOD. GOD will always be identified with every right thing. GOD is identified with every thing that is right. - Take note of this

The Believer has the Written WORD with Him, and the Written WORD shows us the will, nature and character of GOD. The Written WORD shows us the things GOD likes and the things GOD hates. When you have knowledge of the will, nature and character of GOD, then you already know GOD'S mind on matters to the degree of your knowledge of His will, nature and character. - Selah

Imagine someone asking GOD whether or not He should preach the Gospel to a particular person... That's an unnecessary Prayer for a Believer to Pray. Such prayers never receive the desired answers of an audible voice, or a dream to that regard. Never! GOD doesn't give response to such Prayers because they are not born out of Faith. If that Believer had Faith, He would have acted on the Written WORD which has already instructed Him to preach the Gospel not only to a particular person, but to the whole world. But He's here asking GOD in Prayers for the thing GOD has already addressed in the WORD. Such Believer will Pray and keep Praying (concerning that enquiry) and He will never get answers, until He chooses to respond to the WORD, the written Word. Glory to GOD!

So you see, when we know what is right to do concerning an issue, situation or matter, we already know GOD'S mind on that issue, situation or matter. We don't have to seek GOD'S voice again as concerning that subject, we already know what to do, and we do it.
