QUIT HYPOCRISY, SEE JESUS

He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.’ – Matthew 15 vs 26

Hello Dearly Beloved, greetings to you in the Awesome Name of our LORD Jesus, who washed us from all sins been past, present, and yet to be. Glory to HIS Holy Name forever. AMEN. I wanna briefly talk on the subject HYPOCRISY, as the Spirit opened my eyes to see it from the scriptures. Be Blessed in Reading. AMEN.

Our opening scripture is the woman who came to Jesus crying, beseeching HIM to heal her dying daughter. Let’s have a view of the story;

21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. – Matthew 15 vs 21 – 28 {KING JAMES VERSION}

What a story. Now, I want you to see an hidden truth in this that you have just  Read.
Now according to the Law back then, the Jews had no dealings with any other tribe, be you are Samaritan, Canaanite, they had no dealing with each other. Ok? Just copy that. Now here came this woman, a Syrophoenician by tribe seeking Jesus for the healing of her daughter, and we see in the verse 23 that Jesus did not answer her a word. Why? Because it was not lawful for HIM to do so. Ok? Copy that. But I want you to see this, in the verse 25 we see the woman’s persistence on the matter, she came and knelt before HIM, crying and making her request known to HIM, and the next thing we see Jesus did was the introduction of classes. Straightway, Jesus revealed to (2) classes, the class of dogs, and the class of children or sons rather; but HE didn’t place her in any. I will tell you why HE didn’t class her straight-up. Now HE made revealed to her these classes for a purpose. What could it be? The LORD wanted her to acknowledge her position, He wanted her to recognize and accept the fact that she was not worthy to receive that miracle because she was not a Jew so that she may rightly and fully give all the Glory to God. So HE left her with two classes, hoping that she will do the right thing which is accepting the fact that she is a dog not a child of the house. – Selah

Now Jesus could have made it easy by simply saying to her, Woman you are a dog, in other words, you are not a Jew, but HE didn’t do that because HE condemns no man. Hallelujah! In those days, anyone who was not a Jew was called dogs. Dogs speak of anything that is defiled, unclean. Therefore, anyone who was not a Jew in those days were summed up as The Defiled Ones because they knew not GOD. Only Israel at that time knew the true God. {John 4 vs 22}.

Beloved do you understand? Alright.

Jesus did not call her a Dog, He only created an avenue for the woman to accept that she was it. Not until we have accepted we are weak, not until we have accepted our failing strength, HIS Grace cannot be perfect in us. You know why? He came for those who are sick, He came for the lost. You may say Pastor Jenning but I am saved, I am HIS Church, I am no longer sick. Yes my Dear, yet your personal efforts of Righteousness and trying to please God still cannot and will not sustain your salvation. By continually accepting your weaknesses in HIS Presence, not claiming to be what you are not, and relying on HIS Grace, accepting HIS works which HE wrought for you, holding on to the WORD which says you are perfected forever {Hebrews 10 vs 14} and not counting your perfection on your efforts. By so doing, you are just like that woman, you will continually get HIS Grace and Mercy carrying you, and keeping you.

God hates hypocrisy. Never present yourself to be good before God. Even Jesus the Son of the Living God said this;
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. – Matthew 19 vs 16 – 17 {KING JAMES VERSION}
Jesus was called good by a young man, and Jesus didn’t accept it even if HE is the embodiment of goodness, but what saith HE? Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. You see that? Why did HE say that? Wasn’t HE good? Sure HE is good. But HE said that because of us, making HIMSELF an example for us, showing us the path and how we are to present ourselves before HIM. You see that?
There is none good saith the Master HIMSELF. Brother, Sister, throw away that thing you call Holiness, throw it away!! You have never slept with a man all your life? Thank God for you! But you’re still not good, neither are you accepted in HIS sight as a result of that. He says, there is none good but God. That is a class we all are to assume. The weak class, the down class. It will therefore be hypocrisy if we come to God standing on our good works, standing on our strengths. My Dear, you will get no answer from the LORD with such a mind. The LORD always delights in it, when we come to HIM not because we are worthy, but because we know HE is good. That is one way of praising and glorifying HIM. It takes all the power totally away from us, but standing on your strengths ascribes the power to you and not of HIM.
Brothers and Sisters, I never saw a place in the Bible where Jesus shunned adultery, fornication, lies, stealing, murder publicly. But every time and in every place, HE always shuns HYPOCRISY! Always shunning the Pharisees and the Scribes for their Hypocrisy. What is hypocrisy? Hypocrisy is simply claiming to be what you are not. The Pharisees never accepted they were blind, they never accepted they need help, they always presumed on their strength which were obviously futile, and the LORD as a result of that was always in a contention with them. Never did we see Jesus cast away a sinner that came to HIM. One night, a Pharisee named Nicodemus came to his mind and came to Jesus by night. Straightway, Jesus got into conversation with him and began to give him the words of eternal life. {John 3}. You see that? The moment he put aside the hypocrisy of the pharisees and came to the savior plain just as he is, acknowledging that he needed to be saved by a savior, the LORD responded to him straightway. It is obvious, the LORD hates hypocrisy, God hates it. He wants us to accept what we are, weak, failing, ineffective, incapable, and when we’ve whole-heartedly accepted that we are dogs (weak, not worthy), then HIS Grace is made perfect in us. And the value of what HE has done is made obvious before our very eyes. - Selah
‘But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [b]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!’ – 2 Corinthians 12 vs 9 {AMPLIFIED BIBLE}
You see that? These were the words of the LORD Jesus Himself to the Apostle Paul. Look at what He said, look at this; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Here, the LORD clearly reveals the way HIS Grace operates. He said that HIS Strength and Power shows themselves most effective in our weaknesses. You see that? When you say LORD I am not worthy, please help me, you give HIM the power to help you! When you say LORD help me for I please you, you have just presumed on your strength, and HIS Grace cannot flow! Because HIS Grace only flows where there is weakness. – Selah
There are many Self-Righteous men today who are in Hell, all their lives, they lived trying to please God, living on their strengths, thinking their strength were strong enough to get them into Heaven, but lo; they lifted up their eyes in Hell! But take a look at that prisoner, a thief, a criminal, so unworthy, hanging on the Cross alongside with Jesus on that crucifixion night, all he had to do was first, accepting he was the criminal not Jesus. When he did that, it opened the way for his request to be granted. And as soon as he opened his mouth saying, LORD REMEMBER ME IN YOUR KINGDOM, straightway, the LORD answered, YOU ARE REMEMBERED! Let’s see it;

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.’ – Luke 23 vs 39 – 43 {KING JAMES VERSION}
In the verse 40, we see the wise guy talking there, and in the verse 41, you can see that he accepted, he acknowledge the fact that he (they) was rightfully judged but not Jesus. And he was smart to make a request of the good God saying, Remember me! And Glory to God, he got it!
Brothers and Sisters, there is nothing God is holding from us, not even entrance into Heaven, all he seeks of us, just like that Syrophoenician Woman, HE wants us to continually recognize our in-capabilities, that’s only when HIS Grace can flow. But let’s see this;

39 Jesus said,[a] “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”
40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”
41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.’ – John 9 vs 39 – 41 {NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION}

You see that? Here Jesus clearly defined HIS purpose. He says that He came so that the blind will see, and those who see will become blind. The Blind here speaks of those who accept their weakness, those that see here speaks of those who though are weak but claims they are strong.  The Pharisees never admitted to be blind, in other words, they always presumed on their strengths, their efforts. Take a look at verse 41; Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains. If ye were blind! In other words, if you accept your weakness, you will not be guilty of sin. Waow! The moment you acknowledge your weaknesses and in-capabilities to please God, the GRACE of God begins to flow, HE says you will not be guilty of sin! Hebrews 10 vs 14 takes effect in your life. Then Jesus proceeded and said, but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

When you claim you can see, in other words, when you presume on your strength, and think you qualify for God’s acceptance because of your seemingly good works, HE says your guilt remains. You see? Because Jesus came for the weak, all HE came with are obviously for the weak. So the only qualification to obtain or enjoy what HE came with (WHICH IS GRACE), you must be weak! All men are in weakness, but you got to accept it, then you will see the GRACE at work. Peace is one of those packages HE brought for sinners. The day you throw away all your Religion, and come to God, submitting yourself as a sinner and helpless, you receive HIS forgiveness and experience HIS peace. But the moment you hold on to your own Righteousness, you can never experience this Peace, HIS Peace!

Recognize, Accept you are a sinner today, and also recognize that you are only accepted of God because of Jesus Christ your Savior. That way you will experience HIS Grace carrying you, continually setting your heart at PEACE. - Selah

‘I will not enter Heaven because I have preached to thousands and millions of souls, but I will enter into Heaven just like that criminal on the cross saying; LORD Remember me!’ – Billy Graham
