ON GETTING HIS RESPONSE

'For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.' - 1 Corinthians 14 vs 2

Hello Beloved in the LORD Jesus Christ. I believe with this short piece, your spirit will be set on course to receive that long awaited response from God. Be Blessed.

So many of God's children daily come to God in prayers desiring God to speak concerning a particular issues, either to get a direction for their businesses, to get a word of direction in taking a job, some who are ministers come to God asking that God would show them what and what to do as to their respective ministries. But sadly many wait for too long a time with no response. Now, is it that God chose to be quiet upon their requests? No! The reason why it seemed there was no response from God was because they positioned their minds wrongly! Man cannot choose for God how HE is to reply him. No! Many come to God in prayer asking that God would show them/give them the directions the desire in their dreams. No! If you have such mind in prayers, you will never receive such response from God. This is a very practical issue. Now, if God choose to respond to you in  dream, that should be left to HIM; that should not be yours to decide. - Selah. But, God has provided one sure way and a great avenue for every of HIS children to receive responses to every of their petitions, and that sure way is found in THE PLACE OF PRAYING IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE (Popularly called 'Speaking in Tongues'). Let's examine our opening scripture again;

'For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.' - 1 Corinthians 14 vs 2 {KJV}

He says, he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh mysteries in the spirit. Now, let's look at this scripture in the Amplified Bible translation;

'For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].'

Interesting! It says that in the Spirit, he utters, reveals, unveils, opens up secret truths and hidden things. Waow! This is what happens when we pray in an unknown tongue. So we get from this that a mystery is an hidden fact, a secret detail. And we are told that when we pray in tongue, we unveil them.

Now, that direction you seek from God is a mystery. Why? Because it is hidden from you, it is not known to you, hence it's a mystery. Remember we were told that when we pray in an unknown tongue, we unveil (open up) mysteries. Now, I want you to know that one of the awesome ministries of the Holy Spirit to the Believer is to make things known to him;

'But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto  you.' - John 14 vs 26 {KJV}

Now, what I want you to get from this scripture is the fact that HE does reveals things to us. Now I'd like you to open your mind to this teaching because it's meaning could be missed if you're not sensitive. Let's see another;

'But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.' - 1 Corinthians 2 vs 10 {KJV}

This furthers the confirmation that God reveals things to us by HIS Spirit which we have graciously received.

Now, maybe you are in a point where you are confused about something, and you need God to show you what to do. In such conditions, don't be in the category of those who ask God to give them a dream that will reveal what to do to them, no. Instead, get praying; praying in unknown tongues. Remember that the direction you seek is a mystery in that it is hidden from you. As you begin to pray in tongues, soon enough, helpful  thoughts will begin to flash into your mind, such as when they come, you yourself begin to perceive direction. As you keep praying in tongues, thoughts and pictures of what to do begins to flood your mind, and sometimes (from personal experience), these thoughts are just so helpful and real to me that I begin to shout and leap for joy right in the place of prayer. You see? You know what happened there? Mysteries were unveiled! That direction which was hidden from you have suddenly opened up to your knowledge as a result of your speaking in tongues. And all that was made possible by the Holy Spirit, because HE was the one that made it known to you; only that you have to do your part first which is speaking in tongues, then HE will fulfill HIS part of revealing/unveiling/opening-up the mystery (The hidden fact, the hidden direction) to you. - Selah

Maybe you received a query in your place of work, and you don't know what to do, don't worry, get praying in an unknown tongue, soon enough thoughts will come into your mind from the Spirit which will be the very directions you needed. - Selah
