FAITH IS THE VICTORY

'For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.' - 1 John 5 vs 4

Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now we are talking on FAITH. So many of God's people are faced with battles in their lives, satan has successfully lied to many Believers that he has got them trapped in one or two predicaments, and hence they are living in perpetual fear and heaviness. For example:

During the course of ministration on a certain day where I was ministering, it was a prophetic ministration, the case of a certain young girl was mentioned, this was her issue: On a certain day, she had a dream, and in that dream, a serpent entered into her mouth, and a voice spoke to her still in the dream, that she would never be able to sing again (Because she was a very good singer). Now this believer woke up from that dream scared that she has lost her gift of singing, she was in great heaviness in her heart, and gradually, she began to give in to that lie from the devil. Now, it got to a point where she totally agreed that she had lost her singing gift, and literally her voice began to break (Not because she actually lost it, but simply because your life takes the form of what you believe. It's a Law). She joined the choir hoping God would restore her voice back to her, and that day during the course of the ministration, I by the Spirit located her by prophecy, and she got her deliverance. Glory to God!

Now, what kind of deliverance did I minister to her? You'd know shortly. Read on.

Now, let's see what the Bible says on this:

'An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.' - Proverbs 11 vs 9 {KJV}

Through knowledge shall the just be delivered! This statement insinuates that the righteous man (which we are by God's grace and not of our works {2 Timothy 1 vs 9}) gets himself out of trouble by the things he knows. Meaning, when satan show us fearful pictures of our lives, our destiny, our gifts and talents, our deliverance from them all is our knowledge of God's word concerning them. - Selah

Now, who are we? we are the Church, the body of Christ {1 Corinthians 12 vs 27}. Now, what does the Word say about the Church in regards to our victory over satanic arrows?

'And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.' - Matthew 16 vs 18 {KJV}

This is the Lord Himself speaking here, He says that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it insinuates that they will attempt, they will try, they will fire arrows at the us, but thanks be unto God for showing us the end of all their efforts, and this is the end: SHALL NOT PREVAIL! Hallelujah!

Now that you know this, you arm yourself with faith (confidence, assurance), standing on this word, fully persuaded in yourself that it is the very word of the Lord, and the word of the Lord cannot be a lie.

'Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.' - Ephesians 6 vs 16 [KJV}

Maybe you saw in your dream that you died, wake up from that dream with joy and confidence in your heart because of the word, declaring that they (the enemies) shall not prevail against you according to the Word. And that's it.

The Lord wants His children to know this, that it is normal for satan to throw arrows at us! Hey it is normal, arrows from the devil work out God's plan to make your Christianity sweet, c'mon. It's normal, what a lovely adventure it is to me for satan to throw arrows at me. They are simply opportunities for us to express our Faith and Trust in God's unfailing Word. He already told us that the gates of hell shall not prevail against us. So when they throw arrows, when you are faced with satanic encounters either face to face, or via dreams, you should be happy, because Jesus has already revealed to us the end point of all of their efforts! Which is: SHALL NOT PREVAIL! So why the heaviness? Why the fear? Why the worry and fret? Take some relief my friend! C'mon.

That was how that young lady was free from all that fear and heaviness of losing her singing gift, because after I was through explaining this knowledge to her, she came to see that her gift was actually not stolen, she came to realise that her gift was actually with her all along, she came to know that satan only played a mind trick on her and got her to believe it. What a deliverance! No prayers, no laying on of hands, just with simple explanations, by knowledge, she got back her joy and sang awesomely on the spot to the Glory of God.

"What you believe is everything." - Pastor Joseph Prince

If satan can get you to believe a lie, your life assumes the state of that wrong believing until you believe the truth, then your life adjusts again to that which you have believed.

Not that satan has any power over the Christian, he's only acting on the believe principle. He knows this too, he knows that man's life runs on what he believes in. Even science has been able to prove this through Hypnosis. If you believe right, you live right! If you believe wrong, you live wrong (even if you are destined to live right). So satan uses this against us. That's why we have the Word of God there for us, the Word shows us what to believe, and when we believe and are confident in what the Word shows us to believe and be confident in, we experience the victory the Word talked about. - Selah

'Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.' - 1 Peter 5 vs 8 - 9 {KING JAMES VERSION}

Whom resist! How? Being steadfast in faith! That shows that satan's only hope of devouring a man is  when he is not steadfast (strong, unwavering) in faith. This is why we study the Word of God; because you can't have faith without knowledge of the Word. Romans 10 vs 17 says, '...faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' You cannot believe what you don't know about. So satan tries his possible best to keep us out of knowledge; because without knowledge, we cannot have faith, and without faith, we accept what the devil shows or tells us because we lack knowledge of what God has said concerning that matter. It's only when you know what is written, that you can confidently say to satan 'you just told a lie.' - Selah. That confidence is the Faith I'm talking to you about!

Faith is the Victory. Get knowledge of the word, and stand firm on it! By so doing, you explore the world of possibilities and endless victories. Amen. Hallelujah!

God bless you.
