UNLOCKING PERFORMANCE THROUGH FAITH

‘And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.’ – Mark 7 vs 29

Hello Dearly Beloved, I want us to look into this, unlocking performance through faith. In my previous teaching, I talked about unlocking performance through believing, and now we are talking about unlocking performance through faith. Waow. That goes to tell us that there differences between faith and believe. Be Blessed as you read in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Believe simply means a hope in the heart that such things as one expects shall come. On the other hand, faith is the step which is prompted by our believing: Faith is one’s response towards God as a Result of his belief in the Word of God or in HIS personality at a given time, for a specific purpose. – Selah

Now let’s see the story that births our opening scripture;

‘For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

26  The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.’ – Mark 7 vs 25 – 30 {KING JAMES VERSION}

Beloved did you take note of that? The LORD was moved to respond to her plight because of what she said. The woman coming to Jesus and falling at his feet making a request of HIM, shows to us that she had belief in Him to do the desired miracle, but you see sometimes, we have to move from belief, sometimes, we have to take a step further which is faith. This woman believed in Jesus, and she expressed it through her worship to Him, and the Lord knew that she had believe in Him to do the miracle, but we saw that Jesus gave her no attention as to the healing. That tells us that sometimes, stopping at our believing will not get us the desired result, that believe needs to be expressed; and the expression of ones belief in the Master is FAITH. – Selah

What was the expression of this woman’s faith?

Let’s observe closely what she said to the Master;

28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

You see that? What a construction.

You have believed God for a job or a new job, and it seems it’s not coming forth, don’t sit down there feeling discouraged at God, don’t sit down there and let the devil discourage you, just take a look at this woman’s case and learn from her. – Selah

She said a Psalm unto the Lord. That was a psalm. A psalm doesn’t necessarily mean a song, but a Spiritually Influenced composition of words for use in the praise and worship of God. Psalms are spiritually influenced words, composed to the extolling of God, exposing His mighty wonders, revealing His mighty works before Him, letting Him know that you have known Him to be all powerful hence you trust in Him. That’s what the woman did. By that which she said, Jesus was glorified within Him, and that provoked the blessing she desired of Him. – Selah

You must understand that expression of faith is beyond confessing the scriptures, it’s beyond declaring who you are in Christ Jesus, sometimes; it’s about revealing to God who He is, confessing who He is before Him, declaring his mighty wonders as you relate them to what you desire of Him. You see? The woman got what she wanted not necessarily because of the intelligence of what she said to the Master, no, but because of what the words did and meant to HIM. The Lord was extolled by her statement, He was honored by it, He was magnified highly by it; that was what provoked the Blessing, and not the words themselves.

In a nut shell, magnify God, stop complaining and crying before HIM, start worshiping Him. So we can say, Worship is an act of Faith. - Selah

God Bless You.
