BOAST OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU
Hello Beloved, this is a short piece of edification, as a way
of bringing the Grace of our Precious LORD to your remembrance. Be Blessed.
Our opening scripture do tell us that the love of the Lord
towards us is steadfast (unmovable, incessant, unceasing), it never ceases
towards us. In other words, God doesn’t fail in His love towards us. This is
what we should boast of! – Selah
There are many along the Christian Road today who boast of
their love for God, but it’s good to know that our love for God fails at some
point, we really can’t perfectly love Him without mistakes and errors, no. Why?
Simply because we are in the body of sin, therefore, we should not boast of our
love for God because it’s imperfect. But thanks be unto God for His Great Love,
God who chose to forgive us and justify us from all sins, past, present, and
future {Hebrews 10 vs 14}, HE
Perfected (Justified) us forever in His sight. Waow! What a Love! That is the
love we should throw our boasts on, that’s the love we should boast of, His
love for us and not our love for him (which is imperfect and do cease).
Settle this within the four corners of your heart, your
imperfections are not strange before God, He knew you before you were born, and
there’s nothing that ever came your way He didn’t have knowledge of. He already
knows man and his inabilities. Let’s see Genesis
8 vs 21;
‘And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in
his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the
imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite
any more every thing living, as I have done.’ – {KJV}
You take note of the underlined word; for the imagination of man's heart is evil
from his youth. You see that? This was God talking to the Prophet
Noah after the Prophet had offered a Sacrifice unto HIM, He said He would no
more judge man in such way, why? Because God had to find out the nature of what
He made, and He testified to it that the imagination of man’s heart is evil
from his youth, from his age of sense, meaning, man is sinful from the age when
he begins to understand his environment and not necessarily when he is age 18.
So right from the baby stage of man, God said he is sinful!
Therefore my Brother, my Sister, remove your focus from your
weakness or weaknesses, it’s not new or strange to God, He already knows you.
Rather, focus your mind on His unfailing, unending, and unceasing love for you,
that’s what will strengthen you and empower you to live a virtuous life that
pleases Him, and leaves you with no fear when you fail a some point; because in
your failure, in your error, in your mistake, in that sin, His Love didn’t
still change, His word didn’t change either, perfected forever still remains perfected
forever. Glory! Be Comforted By This.
Boast Of His Amazing Love For You Today!
God Bless You.
