JUST AS THE DAYS OF NOAH

'But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.' - Matthew 24 vs 37

Dearly Beloved in the Lord, this is a brief exhortation to get you stirred and alert as touching the coming of the Lord Jesus. Be Blessed.

From our opening scripture, we see a powerful statement the Lord made, He likened His coming to the days of Noah when God brought the flood upon the whole earth. Now, how were those days like? Let's see the whole view of that statement in the verse 38 and 39;

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. {KING JAMES VERSION}

What a day it was! Now let me point out to you those special points I noticed from the reading;

* They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage
* And knew not until the flood came
* So shall also the coming of the Son of man be

You see that? It was just normal, everything seemed normal, everything seemed like nothing was gonna change, they were marrying wives and having husbands, just like some in our day will be going for PhD classes, Masters Classes, Bsc Classes, it will just seem as normal, but just as all of a sudden the flood came as said/promised by the Lord, so shall the Lord come with His Angels and Rapture His Church out of the face of the earth to meet with Him in Heaven. Waow!

This is why we preach the Gospel, announcing His Lordship and warning every man to believe in the Name of the Lord Jesus for the remission of their sins, so that eternal life can be imputed into their spirits thereby escaping the wrath of God to come.
