A TOUCH OF EXCELLENCE

'And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.' - John 20 vs 7

Hello Beloved, as children of God, our lives should be nothing short of Excellence. This article contains vital scriptures on that with the earthly life of the Lord Jesus in view. Read and be Blessed.

From our opening scripture, we see the event that occurred at the sepulchre/grave of Jesus on the 3rd day of His burial. Now, Jesus was to rise from the dead on the third day after His burial, and here, we see these late comers who came to see the Lord's body, but it was too late because the third day of His resurrection was already reached, therefore, He rose and they didn't find Him. But they found out an awesome scene, they discovered that the clothes with which Jesus was wrapped in were neatly folded; some other Bible translations puts it that way. It says, '...but wrapped together in a place by itself.' O Hallelujah! That simple happening gives us so much to learn.

The clothes obviously must have been folded by the Lord Himself when He rose. You see? This is the same excellence that should be in our lives. Through this simple act, we get the big picture. As children of God, we can't just be living any how, no. Anything that comes into your hands should find life, we can't afford to roughen any thing that comes in contact with us, we have an excellent spirit just as the scriptures said about Daniel. The spirit of Excellence is the spirit of Organization.' - Selah

Jesus was such an organized man. Through out His entire life here on earth, He was the clear expression of organization. Let's see Mark 6 vs 39 - 40;

'And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.' - {KING JAMES VERSION}

This is the story of how He fed five thousand men (5,000). We can see again how organized Jesus was from this passage, He didn't ask them to just stand and come rush for food, no, He made them sit, and not just only sit, but He made them sit by numbers. That's just it, and that's the definition of the life of a Christian, he is organized, he does things in order.

Also on this event, after the people were fed, Jesus instructed that the remnants be picked from the ground and it filled 12 Basket {Mark 6 vs 43}. You see? He didn't want the environment messed up, so He asked that the fragments be picked from the ground. That's the picture of an organized man, and that's how we ought to be as followers of the Lord. We can't afford to be disorganized. When men come into your house, the environment should reflect HIS Excellence, even your life, it should speak of Excellence. Be organized, set your life in order.

'Let all things be done decently and in order.' - 1 Corinthians 14 vs 40 {KJV}

Here the Apostle Paul speaks by the Holy Ghost. He says, let all things be done decently and in order. This was the manifestation of the life of Jesus Christ on earth, And this should be our life. He neatly folded His clothes even in the Grave? Waow.

I believe that in one way or the other, the Spirit of God has put a word in your heart, and your life will take a new dimension from this moment.

God Bless You.
