GUILTOCIDE

'What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven...' - Psalms 32 vs 1 {THE LIVING BIBLE}

Hello Beloved, the reality of this message that I share with you now, is the practical results it has produced in the lives of many, of which the King David was a living proof. We'll get to that shortly as we proceed, and I see that guilt which wears you out dissolved in a minute as you embrace this truth and practicalize it. God Bless You.

King David was a man that whole-heartedly loved God, yet practically committed offenses, grievous offenses. Hence, King David practically lived in guilt as the scriptures shows us. Now, here is one of those occasions when David gave thanks to God as a result of his guilt which were gone. Let's read what he said;

'There was a time when I wouldn’t admit what a sinner I was. But my dishonesty made me miserable and filled my days with frustration. All day and all night your hand was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water on a sunny day until I finally admitted all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, “I will confess them to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.' - Psalms 32 vs 3 - 5 {THE LIVING BIBLE}

Waow! This is a very interesting story. The Lord put these words in my heart in a four hours prayer, and showed me the great out-burst of peace that will be in the lives of many when I published it. I couldn't help but shout and shout in His presence. What an awesome time it was.

Please notice certain statements in that passage,

1* My dishonesty made me miserable,

2* Until I finally admitted all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them,

3* And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

Glory! Did you join me in observing those three (3) powerful lines from the king's word? Let's analyze them.

My dishonesty made me miserable.

Here, we see an attitude which is common with us. What did he mean by his dishonesty? We'll see that as we analyze the second observation;

Until I finally admitted all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them.

You see? David is telling us here that at a point, he hid his sins from God. How? By not telling (confessing) to God what he did with his own mouth. And while I was yet praying, still in that prayer session, the Spirit of the Lord began to let me know that, confessing our sins before God, making a full detailed confession of the wrong or wrongs we committed, relieves us of the guilt it brings. - Selah   You see? This was what David was saying. He said he finally admitted all his sins and stopped trying to hide them. Waow. You see, he said he finally admitted all. Meaning, he wasn't sincere at first, there were some sins he had committed which he initially did not want to talk to God about, and they hunted him accordingly. The Lord was telling me, He said, 'What can a man hide from me?' Can you answer that? There's nothing we can hide from God. Before we thought to tell Him what we've done, He already knew them. The Lord told me, He said, 'So long a man keeps his sins from me, so long he's scared of totally admitting them before me, guilt and hurt is sure for him.' - Selah. But when David finally admitted (confessed, said) them all to God, look what happened;

And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

Waow... You see that? And this is an exact confirmation of what the Apostle John said in 1 John 1 vs 9;

'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' {KJV}

You see? It's still the same issue of confession. The Message Bible puts it more explicitly;

'if we admit our sins—make a clean breast of them—he won’t let us down; he’ll be true to himself. He’ll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing.' - 1 John 1 vs 9 {THE MESSAGE BIBLE}

You see? He said 'make a clean breast of them'. Meaning, to say it all, to utter it all. And that is done with the mouth. Maybe at a point in your life, you fell into the sin of fornication, oh that's bad, and now you're so in guilt, so much that you are contemplating of taking your life. O no! Don't do that. You don't wanna know what will become of you if that's done. No no, you don't wanna know. - Selah.

But this is the word of the Lord to you today, all that is required now, is that you go on your knees before His presence in prayer, or lye flat before Him, and begin to tell Him what you've done, begin to say it to Him. Yes, tell Him. Don't forget He already knows it. Go ahead and explain yourself to Him, talk to Him, hide nothing from Him, don't try to justify yourself in His sight, admit sin, admit the sin. Totally admit! Admit!!! Talk with Him, and ask Him for mercy. As you rise from that place, I tell you, that guilt will not rise with you. This has been proven! It works!!!   Waow... This is guiltocide. Haha. What a message? I'm so thankful to the Lord, for teaching us His word. Hallelujah!
