THE ROBE, THE RING, AND THE SHOE

'But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet...' - Luke 15 vs 22

Brothers and Sisters, this is a word to enlighten you on the Father's will for us as Born-Again Christians. Be Blessed.

The story above is the story of the prodigal son. You can start reading from verse 11 to get the full view. Now, the son returned to his Father, and here was what the Father gave to him;

1* A Robe,
2* A Ring, &
3* A Shoe. Robe here speaks of Righteousness, Ring speaks of Authority, and Shoe speaks of Assignment. Brothers and Sisters, when we came to Christ, we were clothed with the garment of Righteousness {Romans 5 vs 17}, then God gave us Authority over all demons and all spirits {Ephesians 1 vs 21}, then God gave us an Assignment, to go win the lost to Him, just as we were won! {Mark 16 vs 15}.

Child of God, this is the word of God to you today, harden not your heart. When you came to Christ, you were not left like that, God clothed you with three (3) special virtues, which are listed to you already. You have been given a garment of Righteousness (The Robe) as a free gift from God, God has given you authority over principalities and all powers (The Ring), finally, He has sent you out to Preach, to be His witness (The Shoe).

Recognize all of these in your life today, and begin to take advantage of Righteousness, take advantage of the Authority, and also take advantage of the Assignment.   Preach Jesus Christ, share HIS love and Grace to someone today. The shoe is most important in the heart of the Father. But in all, the son who was prodigal can never lay a claim on the Robe, neither the Ring, nor the Shoe. He never merited them, neither can he boast of them; it's all the GRACE of the LORD. HE gave us HIS Righteousness, gave us HIS Name as our Authority, and gave us The Ministry of Reconciliation to win the lost back to HIM. Hallelujah!

God Bless You.
