THE HAZARDS OF TAKING THOUGHT FOR TOMORROW

'Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.' - Matthew 6 vs 34

Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. Be strengthened and encouraged by this Word which I now share with you. God is with you.

So many Believers take thoughts over things they have no business taking thoughts about, and one of such things is "the thoughts of tomorrow"; how will tomorrow be, what will I eat tomorrow, how will I pay my house rent expiring in two (2) months time, just like that. Right now, the Lord will have you know this: When you take thoughts about tomorrow (the things in the future), you loose focus for today, you loose the taste and melody of today, you loose the grace, pleasure, bliss, satisfaction and fulfillment of today; that worry of tomorrow (the future) snatches the juice of today from you and eventually doesn't address the tomorrow (the future). So you practically find out that you were a failure today and when tomorrow came, you also failed. - Selah

Why not live just according to the prescription and recommendation of the Lord? living one day at a time. Yes, I know you have a house rent bill to fix in four months time, but get focused on your today's business while you have your trust firm in the Lord to take care of your tomorrow. I know you don't have what to eat at evening time, but why not enjoy your morning meal, which you have by the goodness of God, while you trust God to make something happen in the evening? - Selah

You see, when you eat your food with worry and concerns about what and how the next meal will be, by that worry, the satisfaction of the present meal is taken from you such that after you are finished eaten, it looks as if you didn't eat anything at all, and that becomes double problem, because you will yet remain hungry even after eating, and you will also be left with the worry/concern of the next meal. When someone attends to his job or work with worry of tomorrow (the future) in his heart, his focus for what he's doing today is taking away from him by that worry in his Heart - he doesn't give his job his best shots, he doesn't see possibilities in his today's realities because his heart is blindfolded with a care/concern he has no business caring about or taking thoughts about, hence he doesn't attain success in his today's work, he doesn't come out with productive results for his today's activities and engagements because he substituted his today's focus and zeal for the worries of tomorrow. - Selah. You see, taking thoughts of tomorrow (the future) does no good at all, rather it multiplies sorrows. - Selah

Finally dearly beloved, I urge and encourage you, take no thought for tomorrow which you have not seen, but rather give your today which you have seen all your attention and focus; this will help you give today your best shots and get good results for your today's work. According to the Lord's words, tomorrow will take care of itself. Just believe! - Selah

Live according to the words of the Lord Jesus and be at peace. Amen.

'So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.' - Matthew 6 vs 34 {AMPLIFIED BIBLE TRANSLATION}

Just like the birds of the air don't take thoughts for tomorrow, they live in the moment. Live in the moment and be at peace.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
