CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH - THE ROOT SOURCE OF REGRET

'For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.' - Philippians 3 vs 3

Hello Dearly Beloved of GOD and Favored, it excites me to inform you that the LORD JESUS seeks to show forth HIS Righteousness in you and through you, but not until we have giving up trusting the flesh, this will seem to be unrealistic in our lives. So sit tight and go through what I share now. Be Lifted.

What is confidence in the flesh? Have you ever heard someone say something like this 'Ooo, how could I do this?' Have you? Probably even you, maybe you have just done something you didn't imagine yourself to do, then you go, 'Ah, How could I have done this thing?' It has happened right? Now that's the lucid definition of confidence in the flesh. To have confidence is to be assured and firm. So anytime you say how could you have done such and such a thing, it's a direct pointer that you hold some confidence in yourself not to do that particular thing, but your doing it proved you wrong. You see? Ooo I shouldn't have done this, Ooo I should have done it this way, Ooo how could I have done that?. All of those statements are evidence of one who has some confidence in his flesh (Natural Nature); and by such, men get trapped in the cage of regret, continually wishing what they've done was undone, and this can be very painful and a heavy burden on the heart to bear.

So how can I give up my confidence in the flesh? The Scriptural revealed way to doing this, is by realizing and accepting to the fact that there is nothing good in your flesh. Flesh means the Natural Nature of man. So by implication of this acknowledgement, you have conditioned your mind to accepting the worst of yourself. Let's see Romans 7 vs 18;

'For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.' - {KJV}

You see that? Paul also made that acknowledgement, and I tell you, that was the trigger that led to His total experience of Grace which He expressed in the verse 25;

'I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.' {KJV}

I tell you, this will help you break the burden of regret off your life. Just to know that the worse of you is possible (because the Bible says there's nothing good in the flesh. Nothing!) is already an hedge above regret, because no matter what the mistake you fall to make or commit, your mind has already been built with capacity to receive it, and there will be no such thing as 'Ah, I shouldn't have done this', because now your mind knows that even the worse of evil is possible. Remember, there's nothing good in the flesh the Bible says. Not one! - Selah

Uhmmm. This is the purpose for this Post. To help you break the yoke and burden of regret from off your soul. It works and this same message has relieved many who have heard me preach it, and I am sure your case will not be different on this in JESUS Name. AMEN.

Watch out for my next post release still on regret, where I will help you by the Spirit to see how in the midst of a regretful offense you have done, you can yet have the Peace of a non-guilty man through the Revelation of HIS Grace. Uhmmm it's Big, yea; but that's why we call it Grace and call HIM JESUS. Glory!

GOD has Blessed you.
- Jenning U. Angel
