TESTIFYING TO HIS GRACE: A KINGDOM CULTURE

'Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.' - John 17 vs 24

Hello Dearly Beloved in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, be Lifted by this piece of exhortation. Peace.

As you read through out the Gospels, you will observe that JESUS was always testifying of HIS Father's Love for HIM even as we see in our opening passage. In John 3 vs 35, Jesus testified again to the Father's Love for HIM. Firstly, what does 'Testify' means? To testify means to bear witness. As in a law court, a testifier is one who stands as a witness to a case., he stands to testify, to bear witness that the alleged case is true or wrong with stipulated evidence. You have to recognize that testifying is different from confessing. To confess means to give out a declaration or statement, or to declare (out-speak) knowledge. These are two (2) different things. I love what JESUS said to Pilate;

'Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.' - John 18 vs 37 {KJV}

You see that? So everything JESUS said while on Earth was a Testimony of the Truth. In other words, HE testified to the Truth, HE bore witness to the Truth.

We also are to copy the same attitude. If we are convinced that GOD has shown Great love on us, in that HE gave up HIMSELF in other to become our everlasting Righteousness, we are to bear witness to HIS works, by testifying with our mouth. Revelation 12 vs 11 says, 'And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.' - {KJV}

That's it. It is acceptable before GOD when we testify to the effect of the Blood of the Lamb in our Souls, having the evidence of assurance in ourselves, which the Holy Ghost Himself gives to all them that Believes. See this;

'The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God...' - Romans 8 vs 16 {KJV}

Also;

'He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself' - 1 John 5 vs 10 {KJV}

The word 'witness in himself' as used means, assurance. So he was saying, those that Believe in JESUS have the Assurance of Salvation in themselves, they are evident about it by that assurance and conviction the Holy Spirit impacts in their Spirit. So you see, we can bear witness to the Grace of JESUS having evidence of it in our Spirit, that awesome Assurance which not even the devil nor sin can take away from us. Praise GOD.

So Beloved, when you are praying or in the bus, or just sitting on some chair, or may be standing somewhere, or in a leisure hour, or in the class room, you can testify thus; 'I am the Righteousness of GOD in Christ JESUS, CHRIST is my Righteousness, I have been Eternally rescued by JESUS' Blood; O JESUS is my Salvation, I shall not come into condemnation nor judgement but I have passed from death unto Life because I have believed in the Name of JESUS.'

You see? You can testify the more according to the measure of the Revelation of CHRIST in you, and thereby Glorify JESUS. Because I tell you, GOD is honored in our Testimony of the works of HIS Dear Son JESUS, and this fills our lives with HIS all encompassing Peace.

GOD Bless You.
