A LESSON FROM JOHN

'Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter...' - John 21 vs 7

Hello Dearly Beloved, I always told you that I count it a privilege by GOD to bring the word of HIS Grace to you every time. There are many who boast of their love for GOD, and confidently stand on it. But by this article, GOD wanna correct such boastings and confidence, to produce in us the Peace of HIS Son. GOD Bless You.

Our opening scripture reveals a deep Truth. I like you to call to remembrance that that scripture is taking from the Book of John, and that Book was written by the Apostle John. The Apostle was talking of himself, because he was the one who said unto Peter according to our opening scripture. Now look at the description he gave of himself, he called himself 'that disciple whom JESUS loved'. - Selah. That statement reveals so much truths. At this point, the Apostle has realized something which I by the Holy Ghost wanna reveal to you;

'But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.' - Matthew 26 vs 56 {KJV}

It says that all the disciples forsook JESUS. Obviously that must include the very Apostle John we're now talking about. Let us see what transpired that led to this;

'Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.' - Matthew 26 vs 31 {KJV}

JESUS informed them that they all (which includes John) shall forsake (be offended in) HIM that night. But you know what? They didn't agree to that, they all boasted of their love for HIM. Let's see that in the verse 35;

'Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.'
You see that? All the disciples which obviously included John, they all boasted of their love for JESUS. But you know what Beloved, we can't be very sure of our love for GOD, because we aren't perfect in ourselves and may err against HIM the next second. And this was the case of the Apostles, they all boasted about their love for HIM, but when the time came, they forsook HIM. Question? Where then is the love for HIM they boasted about? This' another proof that boasting in our love for HIM is Vain! - Selah

This did the Apostle John realize at the later part of time, HE understood that it wasn't about his love for the Master, but about the Master's love (Perfect Love) for HIM, then he said, 'the disciple whom JESUS love, not the disciple that loves JESUS'. - Selah

Brother, Sister, this is the word of the LORD to you at this moment, GOD wants you to know that when you establish your heart with HIS Love for you, your heart is filled with HIS Peace; but if you establish your heart with your love for HIM, when you fail, you will be in grief and in pain (Just like the Apostle Peter was grieved bitterly when he realized he had denied the LORD. - Luke 22 vs 62).

GOD Bless You.
