CHRIST: THE END OF THE LAW

'For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.' - Romans 10 vs 4
Hello Dearly Beloved in the LORD Jesus Christ, this is a form of exhortation to pot you in remembrance of the Grace of GOD that saved us.

Briefly I want to show you two events in the Bible that indeed proves that Christ is the end of the Law. Sit back and be Blessed;

5 ¶ 'These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.' - Matthew 10 vs 5 -6 {KING JAMES VERSION}

Now, the LORD had called HIS twelve Apostles who HE appointed to be HIS ministers, and here was a very stricken commandment HE gave to them, HE said that they should not preach the word to the gentiles, neither the Samaritans, but only preach to those who were of the Household of Israel. Waow. What a commandment. Now Beloved, it is important to note that Leaders live and should live by examples, it therefore means that Jesus lived by the laws which HE gave to HIS disciples; as it would be unethical for HIM to give Laws and Ethics to followers of which HE doesn't live by. Now if this is understood let's move on;
24 ¶ And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
 25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
 26  The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. {Greek: or, Gentile}
 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. - Mark 7 vs 24 - 29 {KING JAMES VERSION}

Uhmmm. This is a very interesting encounter the LORD had. This portion of the scripture says that there was a certain woman who was a Greek, and the Greeks were those that were called Gentiles. Now, JESUS was passing by, the verse 24 tells us HE actually hid Himself though it was impossible because of HIS fame, but HE did hide Himself. Why? Because HE had a rule, a Law, HE was not to to anything with those who were not of the Household of Israel, and this nation was not of the Household of Israel. Now, it is important to note that HIS disciples who HE gave commandments not to do anything with Gentiles or Samaritans were there. Now my Dear, you can imagine the scenario, a Gentile woman comes worshiping at HIS feet, desiring healing for her daughter, you can imagine what the disciples were thinking at that time; I believe they must have been whispering among themselves saying, 'Master commanded us not to minister to Gentiles nor Samaritans, now let us see what HE'S gonna do to this woman, let us see if HE'S gonna keep to HIS commandments or do otherwise.' Uhmmm, isn't this interesting? So we see that the integrity of the LORD was at stake at this junction. - Selah

Now reading this passage of the Bible from the Account of Matthew, we see something important and relevant there. Let's see it;

'But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.' - Matthew 15 vs 23 {KJV}

You see that? Jesus kept her quiet, HE ignored her. What does that tell you? It tells us that of a Truth, HE meant HIS word to minister nothing to those who were not of the Household of Israel. Comeon, merciful Jesus, hearing of such a pitiful issue, ignored. - Selah. Now, we see the disciples came to HIM and asked that HE sends her away. That must mean that Jesus really ignored her because it records that she cried after them. They said, '...for she crieth after us.' That means, Jesus was on the go irrespective of her cries, HE ignored. That means HE kept to HIS word of having nothing to do with Gentiles nor Samaritans. - Selah. But what happened? Let's see;

27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

You see that? I have explained this part of the scripture in subsequent teachings on this Blog. The meaning of dog here as used by the Master is symbolic and not a literal statement. Dog symbolizes uncleanness, and in those days, the Jews considered everyone who wasn't a Jew as unclean because only the Jews knew GOD {John 4 vs 22}. Now, see the response of this woman, she didn't argue or try to argue with the LORD that she was clean, but see her statement; And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. You see that? She straightway accepted she was a dog. In other words, she said, 'Yes LORD, I am unclean.' The moment she acknowledged her sins, her weakness, her flaws, she received Grace for her need from the Master. See what HE said, And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. For this saying. Waow! So the acknowledgement released the Grace. - Selah. By the standard of the Law/command which the LORD gave, she was not qualified to obtain, but by the Grace which the LORD also gave, she obtained!

Dearly Beloved, all of the Laws we see in the Bible came from GOD, and Grace also came from the same GOD. Now, the scripture says Christ is the end of the Law. HE gave the Law, and HE is the end of it. Hallelujah! Little wonder HE said in the Book of Revelations 1 vs 8 that HE is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending.

Beloved you can access this Grace just like that Gentile woman by acknowledging you are a sinner, by acknowledging you have weaknesses and flaws, bu acknowledging you are dirty, by acknowledging you are sick (sinful). Didn't Jesus say that 'They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick?' {Matthew 9 vs 12}. What did HE insinuate by that statement? HE'S was simply saying, I came only for those that are sick (sinful). What did Jesus come with? HE came with Grace and Truth {John 1 vs 17}. Therefore, if we must access that Grace, we must accept that we are sick, because HE already defined HIS mission that HE came for the sick. So if Jesus must mean any thing to you, it must mean that you are sick. The doctor only means something to the sick, likewise Jesus. If Jesus must mean anything to you, you must be sick. When you call Jesus your Savior, what you didn't say that you actually said is, 'I am sinful, I couldn't save myself, you saved me.' That's what you actually say when you call Jesus your Savior.

Therefore Beloved, just like that Gentile woman, accept your state of uncleanness and imperfection before GOD, and Christ Grace (which HE came down to give) will flow in you, and you will know it by the Peace that fills your heart and the Joy that ravages your soul. Hallelujah!

'And he said to me, My grace is enough for you, for my power is made complete in what is feeble...' - 2 Corinthians 12 vs 9 {BIBLE IN BASIC ENGLISH TRANSLATION}

You see that? These is the word of the LORD Jesus Christ. HE said to the Apostle that HIS Grace is made complete in what is feeble. Therefore if we will ever access and experience the completeness of HIS Grace which produces Peace and Rest of mind, we must continually accept we are feeble (possess weaknesses). The Apostle John informs the Church in 1 John 1 vs 8 that if any of them would say they have no sin (Greek: Harmatiano = Weakness), then they lie and have not the Truth in them. You see that? Your weakness, errors, mistakes and flaws are no new things before them, before you ever committed any sin or mistake, HE already informed you in HIS word that you possess such weakness. Therefore simply accept what is no new thing before HIM and be at Peace within your innermost self.

God Bless You.
