CHRIST OUR PASSOVER

‘Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us’ – 1 Corinthians 5 vs 7

Hello Dearly Beloved, this is just another mind blowing episode of the Gospel of His Grace, believe it, and watch it change your entire life forever. How excited I am bringing you this Revelation. Remain in Peace! AMEN.

From our opening scripture, there is a line I want us to see, it says; EVEN CHRIST OUR PASSOVER. I like to talk about that word passover. Firstly, we must settle this in our hearts that the scriptures were given by the inspiration of God, therefore, every scripture is God’s word. Good! Now, the word passover all began in Egypt in the days of Moses the man of God, let’s see the story;

’7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover.

12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.’  – Exodus 12 vs 7 & 11 - 13 {KING JAMES VERSION}

Now, this was God’s final Judgement or Plague upon Egypt, and God instructed the Prophet to instruct the people, to take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, where they were to eat it.

Waow!

Do you know that is so symbolic? Before I go into explaining the mystery of the two side posts and the upper door posts God talked about, notice this that God said, When I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you. You see that? Bear that in mind, we will come to it in the later.

THE TWO SIDE POSTS AND THE UPPER DOOR POSTS

In explaining this mystery, the Cross of Jesus comes in View. The two side posts speaks of the two hands of Jesus nailed on the Cross for us;

‘Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross…’ – Colossians 2 vs 14 {KJV}

The nailing of Jesus’ hands at the two sides of the Cross meant that the Law (Which was the handwriting that accuses us in our consciences when we break it) is been nailed to the cross forever, and nothing on this earth neither beneath the earth can un-nail it from the Cross of Jesus Christ. O Hallelujah! I’m excited about this, so the Law is passed away, therefore, there is no voice that accuses you when you sin because the Law is no more given to be obeyed, hence, it can’t accuse you, because you can only be accused of been guilty when there is a Law. Do you get this? – Selah.

Before I continue with my explanations on the two side posts and the upper door posts, I’d like to let you know this; Do you know that Satan can really not accuse anyone without a standing Law from God? Looking at the case of Adam and Eve his wife, when the devil tempted Eve, why didn't he tempt her with other things which were absolutely possible? When did he come in the direction where there was a Law from God? – Selah. Looking at the case of the Lord Jesus Christ, why did the devil not tempt Him in some other things, why did he come through the scriptures? – Selah. All these goes to show that the strength of Satan to accuse us is the Law! When there is a Law that says ‘Thou shalt not steal’, when you steal, be sure to hear the accuser call you a Thief! Why? Because you broke a Law. But thanks be unto God who has taken the Law out of the way in that He nailed it permanently to His Cross, hence, when you steal today (Though not appropriate for a child of God), you shouldn't listen to the devil’s accusations. Why? Because by risen of the Lord Jesus taking the Law out of the way, all of his accusations became illegal because you broke no Law though you stole! Before the Law was Nailed to the Cross, it was legal when he accused anyone, but since the Law was taking out of the way by the Nailing to the cross, his accusations became illegal. So it’s yours to know and live in absolute joy and peace. Jesus will never accuse you {John 5 vs 45}. – Think deep about this

Now back to my explanations on the two side posts and the upper door posts, we now see what the two side posts stand for. Hallelujah! Waow, what a WORD!

The upper door posts speaks of the tag Pilate put over Jesus on the Cross. Let’s see;

‘And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.’ – John 19 vs 19 {KJV}

The upper door posts speaks of HIS Identity as King, LORD. So by the children of Israel striking the upper door posts of their doors, they indicated that God was king over them. Remember the writings of the Scriptures in Hebrews 10 vs 1, that the Law (Including the happenings of old) was a shadow of  good things to come. In other words, the happenings of the times of old were supernaturally crafted by God, to reveal the later day happenings on Earth, which days we are in now. Hence, by the symbol of that happening of the Children of Israel in Egypt, when we confessed Jesus Christ unto Salvation, we thus signified that HE is LORD over us (The Upper Door Posts), and that we are no more under the Law, since it was nailed to the Cross at HIS two hands (The Two Side Posts), but we are now under Grace. Hallelujah! Just like the Children of Israel were under Grace such that by reason of that blood which they sprinkled on the two side posts and the upper door posts of their doors, they were not destroyed. Likewise us, by reason of His Blood not our works, we have also escaped destruction and the damnation of Hell. That’s the interpretation of our opening scripture of Christ been our Passover. – Selah

Brother, you have escaped! Sister, you have escaped! Stop looking at your works, look at the Cross, Behold the Cross not your sinful works. We have past the era of works, we are now in the era of Grace and just Grace alone. Can’t you just see and believe this?

I Believe!

God Bless You.
