EVERYONE A PREACHER
‘And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of
peace…’ – Ephesians 6 vs 15
Hi Dear, be refreshed and set on course for the LORD as you
read this short piece of knowledge. God Bless You.
Our opening scripture is the continuation of the armor of
God of which we are instructed to put all on, and this is yet one of them.
Before I make an explanation on it, I want us to see that scripture in a
simplified Bible transliteration;
‘Be ready with the good news of peace as shoes on your
feet…’ – BBE {Bible in Basic English}
You get that? When a soldier goes to war, he puts on war
shoes in other to guard his feet. The question is, why does he guard his feet?
It’s simply because he advances his movement in the battle ground with his feet;
if his feet are injured, then he can move no further. It’s also like a
footballer, he wears football boots on his feet so as to guard against injuries,
because the moment they are injured, they can no longer play on pitch for the
length of the duration of their cure. Some stay off-play for 3 months, some 2
months, some 7 months, for some; it’s as bad as a whole year or 2. You see?
When you see a static Christian, a Christian who makes no
progress in the Faith, one who is ever void of new Revelations in the Word and
the Spirit, then you are looking at a Christian who doesn’t preach the Gospel,
one whose feet are unprotected, one who has got his feet injured, and he has
stopped moving! – Selah
You see? He didn't say only Pastors should put on this Armour, but every Believer. Do you want to see your life move forward in all
Ramifications? Do you want to see advancement in your Christian Faith, that
point where Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ is progressive in your life?
The only source of such increase is by preaching the Gospel, the Gospel of
Peace. You see?
Therefore child of God, protect your foots so you can keep
moving. And preaching (evangelizing, soul winning, teaching the word) is the
sure and only way to doing that.
