CONFESSION IS NOT PART OF SALVATION PROCESS PT.2

'And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' - Acts 16 vs 30

Hello Dearly Beloved in the LORD JESUS. Today we will be answering a very important question which the Body of Christ needs to get answered, especially in such a time as this. Be Blessed and Highly lifted in the Name of JESUS. AMEN.

Our opening passage was the question of a certain man, a soldier, who asked the men of GOD named Apostle Paul and Prophet Silas, He said Sirs, what must I do to be saved? What a question. Now it's very important to note what I am about to say. See the Answer of the Apostles;

'And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.' - Verse 31 {KJV}

Now the Apostles' answer to that question (what must I do to be saved?) was Believe! - Selah

Let's see something;

'That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.' - Romans 10 vs 9 {KJV}

Now, if the way many interpret this portion of the Bible is correct, then there is a contradiction in the words of the same Apostle Paul and even in the Words of our Precious LORD JESUS, God forbid! Paul answered to that man, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, but here it says if you shall confess with your mouth plus Believe in your heart, then thou shall be saved. If this is true, why then did they not tell the man to confess with his mouth as well as Believe in His heart to be saved? That must mean there's more to this passage of the Bible than the literal rendering of it. And I explained to us in the Part one of this teaching, showing us from the Living Bible Translation to make it more precise, how that Paul did not mean that you must confess with your mouth to be saved, but He meant that after receiving Salvation by Believing, we tell it to others with our mouth that we are saved. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. - Acts 2 vs 38 - 41 {KING JAMES VERSION}

Hallelujah! What an influx of Souls into the Kingdom at an instance. Hallelujah Hallelujah! Notice the verse 41, it says that they that gladly received His Word were baptized. You see, there was nothing like confess with your mouth that JESUS is LORD like many do today, we make Altar calls and ask the people who came out to say words after us. That's simply an added religious exercise to the process of Salvation. Here we see that all the people needed was to receive the Word which was spoken by the Apostle, and how did they receive the Word, by Believing what He said off course. Check all through the Matthew, Mark, Luke and John Books, JESUS was always telling the people to Believe on HIM; it wasn't and was never about confessing JESUS, but Believing on JESUS.

GOD Bless You.
