CALLED INTO THEIR REST

'And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree...' - Romans 11 vs 17

Hello Dearly Beloved, I know the LORD for sure has been gracious to you. This Article is aimed to reveal to you in a special way the Grace we who are called Gentiles have received of GOD through Jesus Christ. Be Blessed and Lifted. AMEN.

Our opening scripture is an address the Gentiles. The gentile is one who is not a Jew, a heathen, who is not of the commonwealth of Israel. That therefore makes me a gentile and probably you if you aren't from the Nation Israel. It's simple. Now, that scripture above lets us know that Salvation belonged originally to the Jews and not to all. JESUS said that in John 4 vs 22. But how was this Awesome salvation then made possible and available to all men? That's what the Apostle Paul explains above. In the verse 21 and 24, we see that they are the Natural Branches and as well the good olive tree, and we according to our opening verse are the wild tree. In other words, they are the qualified for Salvation not us. It's GOD'S choice and HIS Favor towards Israel. But watch what it says in the verse 24;

'For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?' - {KJV}

You see, it says that we were grafted into the good olive tree. Waow! Do you know the implication of that? It means that we can now partake of the Promises made to Israel, we are now partakers of like promises just as our opening scripture signifies, 'and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree...'. Boiii, you don't understand. Look at this;

'In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness.' - Jeremiah 33 vs 16 {KJV}

Do you see that? Today I see Christians generalizing and personalizing that scripture, but do you know that it was a promise initially intended to the Nation of Israel alone? It was not a general promise. But we became partakers of that promise and many more by reason of we being grafted into them as one as our opening scripture made us aware. And all this was done when CHRIST JESUS died on the Cross. It says that GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. You see that? By reason of HIS death, it became an inheritance for whosoever and no more Jerusalem alone which speaks of Israel. O Hallelujah! So you see, it was their rest, but JESUS brought us into it. O Glory to GOD. That's why it's called Grace, because it's not ours, could never be ours, we could never merit it, nor labour for it,  but it's of HIS own will and purpose. Praise GOD forevermore. Little wonder the Apostle Peter Exclaimed in 2 Peter 1 vs 4;

'Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature...' - {KJV}

You see that, we are partakers. A partaker is one who takes part in, who shares in something, someone who joins in a substance not originally given to him, but joins in by reason of privilege or opportunity. Glory. You see?

Why not go ahead and start thanking GOD for such a Glorious Grace and Favor HE has lavishly shown on you and us in general, for making it possible for us to access HIS Rest which originally was not designed for us, but was now made possible by CHRIST JESUS. We owe JESUS all this thanks. Why not thank HIM for HIS Great work towards all of mankind, for suffering that shame and dying that death, all for you and me, especially us who are gentiles, one time strangers from HIS Plan?

GOD has Blessed you.
- Jenning U. Angel
