BEWARE OF DOGS
Hello Beloved in the Lord Jesus, this is yet another
inspiring topic I share with you, be Blessed in the name of Jesus. AMEN.
Our opening scripture says to us; Beware of dogs, also it says; Beware of the concision. I want us to look into those two statements.
Firstly, when you see an inscription on the gate of a house
which says ‘Beware of Dogs’, What does that tell you? What are they warning you
of? The Dogs outside or the Dogs inside? Obviously they are warning you of the
Dogs inside. Right? Yea. That tells us from that scripture that that warning
was given by the Apostle Paul against the Dogs inside the Church, these are so
called Believers and not necessarily unbelievers at all. Uhmmm. Now, the second
statement pointed out which says ‘Beware of the concision’ will clearly show us
what category of Believers he was warning us against as we look at that
scripture again from the Bible in Basic English Translation {BBE};
‘Be on the watch against dogs, against the workers of evil,
against those of the circumcision’ – {BBE}
You notice the last line there? He said beware of those of
the circumcision. Now, who are those of the circumcision? In the days of the
Apostles, they were those folks who believed in Jesus totally, yet they held on
to the doctrine of works and not faith, they held on to the circumcision after
the flesh and not after faith in the Eternal Salvation of the Lord Jesus
Christ. Hence the Apostle by the Spirit asked the Church to watch against them.
WHY ARE WE TO BEWARE
OF THEM?
These set of folks are still in the churches today all
around the world across all entire human race, these are the folks that believe
they are approved in the presence of the Lord by their good works, and when one
fail at some point, they thus teach that they have broken relationship with God
because of their sins and they need to amend that. O what a crap!
Brothers and Sisters, beware of these people and stay clear
from them because they always point you to your works and not the cross; beware
of them for they always point you to self and not to Grace! – Selah. They are
the dogs been talked about, having a tooth of concision to tear into pieces. By
yielding to their teachings, you fall away from Grace, even that precious Grace
that saved you and will keep you saved (inspite your flaws) until the day of
Jesus Christ. – Selah
‘Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you
are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.’ – Galatians 5 vs 4 {KJV}
You see that? If they point you to the Law (Which is
implemented by works) and not to Grace (Which is Received by Faith and
sustained by Faith in that same Saviour Jesus Christ), then they are out to
devour your precious soul for which Christ died for! Flee such a fellow and
give no heed to his teachings.
GOD Bless You.
