IS ANY SICK AMONG YOU?

'Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord...' - James 5 vs 14

Dearly beloved, I believe God is gonna through this message, create a healing miracle in your body and in as many who desire a healing. Just Read and be blessed.  

From our opening scripture, a profound question is asked, it says, 'Is any sick among you?' What a question. Now if you observe very well, that question was probably asked because there was sickness among the brethren, so here comes the Apostle by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, telling them what to do in that condition. And he says, 'let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.' Did you see that? That's an assurance God has given to the church. God is letting us know by that scripture that there is Balm in Zion, God is telling us that there is hope and assurance of health in Zion to any one who is born again, of whatever sickness it may be. Glory to God.

Can you imagine, he didn't say let him go to the hospital or consult a doctor, but let him call for the elders to pray over him. Waow. That therefore means that God has embedded this Balm in the prayers of the Elders, and all the sick folk needs do is to consult them. - Selah

Now, who are the Elders of the church? We will come to that shortly. Now, I'd like you to know that sickness is the general name for any kind of affliction or disease. Cancer is a sickness, Hiv is a sickness, Ebola is a sickness, Malaria is a sickness, Ache is a sickness, Fever is a sickness, and all of them. So God is letting us know that no matter the sickness a Christian comes in contact with, the solution to it is right in the Prayers of the Elders of his church assembly. That's why the Apostle said, let him call for the elders. Let's see the next verse;

'And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.' - James 5 vs 15 {KJV}

You see that? He is affirming to us that the prayers of the elders over that sick fellow will save him from his sickness or sicknesses. You see? That's what he refers to as 'the prayer of faith.'   So with this, we see that all a sick christian need to get well is not the Hospital neither the Doctor, but the prayers of the Elders over him. Child of God, do you believe this? - Selah. Maybe you are currently cancerous, do you believe that the prayers of the elders of your church will save you of that cancer? You've got to believe this, it's God's word not mine. - Selah

WHO IS AN ELDER?

An elder here doesn't necessarily mean one with grey hair all around his head, no. But it speaks of one who is mature with and in the word of God, one who is skillful with the Word of GOD, who holds revelations of God's word in his spirit, one who practically acts and lives in the word of God. It takes one who is skillful with God's word to know the exact word to say to that cancer, to that virus, it takes one with a deep and accurate revelation of the Word to know the will of God concerning your health situation. This is so necessary because if prayer is made amiss, it yields no result. Let's see James 4 vs 3;

'Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss...' {KJV}

You see? So we see now that one can ask for something and not get it because it was asked amiss (the wrong way), it was not asked in line or in consistency with the written word, and that makes it a contradiction, hence no results. So it takes an elder, one who is deeply rooted and grounded in the will (word) of God to know exactly how to make prayers for any health condition no matter the name. You see? - Think about this (Selah)

'Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?' - Jeremiah 8 vs 22 {KJV}

From this, we see the Prophet in a maze, astonished at the prolonged illness of the people when there was Balm from Heaven right in their midst. That was why he cried out and said, 'Is there no balm in Gilead?'  

My Brother, My Sister, you don't have to die of that cancer, it's not necessary, there is balm in Gilead - Selah. You don't have to die of that ebola, it's not necessary, there is balm in Gilead - Selah. You don't have to die of that hiv, it's not necessary, there is balm in Gilead - Selah. Whatever the sickness is, you don't have to die or suffer of it, just call on the Elders of your church as the scriptures has commanded us, and have them pray over you in the name of the Lord, and anointing you with oil as the scriptures has instructed (I can't exclude that because it's right there), and go ahead and enjoy divine health.

 I pray for you today in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, whatever sickness or ailment that has troubled your body up till this time, it ends to now! God restores you of every penny you have spent as a result of this ailment. AMEN. Testify. Write me at [email protected] on how God has healed your body with this prayer.

There is BALM in Gilead.
