GET UP FROM BED

'How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?' - Proverbs 6 vs 9

My dearly beloved in the Lord, this is yet another message from the Lord, to awaken you, and get your spirit on, to begin to do those things you ought to do at the time when they ought to be done, and doing them promptly. God Bless You.

Beloved, from our opening scripture, the first line says, 'How long wilt thou sleep?' This is the question the Spirit of God is asking you today. - Selah.   If you knew what sleep has done to you in life, if only you knew what precious things sleep has taken from you in life, you would decide to measure up with sleepless nights and weeks, even months and years. Many people set targets for themselves, but sleep strip them off from achieving it. For example, you are a student in school, and you have exams the next day, and you said you were gonna read through out the night, but when sleep was induced, you found out that you're already in the next day. You see, precious time was wasted on sleep, hence such fellow walks into the exam hall and looks so confused and finally fail the course. What caused his failure? Sleep! - Selah. Maybe you were booked for a job interview on a certain day, and the interview time was 7AM. Now, you slept and so slept and eventually arose from sleep by 7.30AM. What has just happened? You've already failed the interview test as a result of lateness. Because, before you clean up yourself, eat, get dressed, and journey out, assuming there is a traffic jam on the way, then you may end up getting to the office by 10AM, and that's a BIG failure. You see? Sleep. This sleep. - Selah.

So many people have lost so much because of sleep. But you see, I wanno teach you something;

'Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep...' - Proverbs 6 vs 10 {KJV}

You see? It says, a little sleep, it says, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep. Can you see the common word there? 'A little.' What does God mean by that? It's not major sleeps that causes troubles, but little sleeps, just a rest, just a little relaxation, just a resting of the back, but it leads to long sleeps. Haha. God is trying to tell us that, the decision to take a little rest are actually what causes the failures we see. You wanno read, and you say, let me just rest a little for 20 Minutes, then I'll wake up and start reading, but by the time you open your eyes, the day is already dawn, five (5) hours gone. Or you said you'd pray at 2AM at night, then at 2AM, you woke up, but said to yourself, let me just rest for about five (5) minutes then I'll start to pray, but when you opened your eyes, it was 5AM. You see? What has happened there, failure! Five (5) minutes have suddenly become Three (3) hours. That's what that scripture there meant by 'a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep.' What does this tells you? When you have something to do, do it at the stipulated set time, and don't give a little rest before doing it, else, scriptural principles will catch up with you. And what are they?

'So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.' - Proverbs 6 vs 11 {KJV}

You see? Here He talks about POVERTY and WANT. These two (2) menaces are inevitable when you are a man given to a little rest before taken actions.

'You can't escape failure in any duty or task, if a little sleep comes before action.' - Jenning

'And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.' - Genesis 2 vs 2 {KJV}

You see? God ended all his work first as stressful as they were, before He rested! God was a real man. - Selah. Real man here speaks of a successful person.

'Real men sleep (rest) after their set task(s) are accomplished.' - Jenning

When will you arise out of your sleep?

God Bless You.
